1. What's the difference between Yuqian Longjing and Mingqian Longjing in you store?
Yuqian means the tea leaves harvested before Gu Yu (around April 20 each year), while Mingqian means the tea leaves harvested before Qing Ming (around April 5 each year). Yuqian longjing and mingqian longjing can be thought as different longjing tea grade. Mingqian longjing is a higher grade. Mingqian longjing with more tender leaves, while yuqian longjing with more stronger taste.
2. How to brew longjing tea?
Porcelain gaiwan or glass cup is suggested for brewing longjing tea.
For hot tea, Chinese gongfu way recommended：
Serving size: 3g
Water: 150ml with temperature around 80℃
4 steeps: rinse, 30s, 60s, 90s, 120s.
For iced tea, 3g tea with 150ml mineral water, stay for 6-8 hours in fridge you can begin to drink the tea. Or add ice directly to hot tea after staying 1 minute when get tea soup.
