Cleaning
Cleaning a menstrual cup is as simple as rinsing it under running water between changes and then boiling it in a pot of water for 10-20 minutes to sterilize it at the end of your cycle. It can then be safely stored in the carry pouch to ensure adequate ventilation. You should not store a period cup in an airtight container.
Trim the stem
The stem of the menstrual cup should not be protruding outside your vagina, or irritating your labia. Some women who have a low cervix, may find that this happens.
