Whole cap & no stem. Big. Each morel is whole and 3cm or bigger in cap size. Clean. No pine needles.

100% Wild Canadian morel mushroom, 2019 New Crop! Picked from the mid April to August 2019 during western Canada morel season. Authentic product will bear our trademark GT Leaf Logo to ensure the single origin, quality, and authenticity of our morels.

Sweet wild mushroom aroma. Each morel is carefully dried and sorted. Hand picked and packed. Meaty texture. A mix of blondes, grey, and conica.

Natural wild morels are never strong or pungent, instead, the aroma is sweet and creamy. Net weight: 2oz / 56.5g. Dried morels are a great alternative, since fresh morels are only available a few months a year. Dried morels are perfect in stews, sauces, risottos, soups, or chopped up to use in stuffings.

Soak in cold water for 5 minutes or until soft, all the grits will sink to the bottom of the soaking liquid. Scoop up the mushroom, and change the water one more time. Squeeze out all the water, your morels are ready to use.

2019 NEW crop. 100% WILD Canadian morel. Single origin, picked in the wild from British Columbia & Yukon, Canada. NOT the common blended or cultivated Chinese stuff. Each one of our Canadian morel is whole with very little stem or none at all. Handpicked and sorted. No broke caps. Wild morels smell distinctively different than the cultivated China morels. Wild morels smell sweet and mushroom. Every bag of morels will come with Golden Tea Leaf's signature label as proof of authenticity. To hydrate: Soak in cold water for 5 to 10 minutes or until soft, all the grits will sink to the bottom of the soaking liquid. Scoop up the mushroom, and change the water one more time. Squeeze out all the water, your morels are ready to use. Don't worry, you can't damage these morels. The thicker and meatier grey, green, and blond morels may require slight longer soaking time. Use the re-hydrated morels in soups or stews. Or pan fry over high heat in butter and garlic to give it a crispy exterior. The bigger ones are perfect for making stuffed morels. Excellent premium quality gourmet mushroom, perfect for soups, stews, pasta sauces. Seal the zip-lock bag well for storage or transfer into any jars with tight fitting lids and store in a dry place away from moisture and sunlight.
