1.HDMI Ethernet Channel，HEC
This version will add a data channel to support high-speed and bidirectional communication. The interconnect device that supports this function can send and receive data through 100 Gigabit Ethernet to satisfy any IP based application. The HDMI Ethernet channel will allow Internet based access to Internet based HDMI devices and other HDMI devices without the need to connect another Ethernet cable.
