Model GEW2100BJ is an indoor Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensor Switch designed and built to be installed in low human footfall areas like Stairwells, Lofts, Corridors, Garages, Balconies, Toilets etc to switch on lights and other electric loads only when human presence is detected to save on electricity consumption.It can also be installed in unmanned/forbidden areas to enhance security and switch on alarms when human presence is detected Model 2100BJ detects any sudden increase in infrared energy emitted by humans in the form of heat and can instantaneously switch on loads up to a maximum of 800 Watts operating between 200 VAC -250VAC.Model 2100BJ provides 2 very useful and practical setting adjustments:Delay Timer Adjustment - This setting allows users to adjust the time the load remains energized from 30-300 secs before turning off. Ambient Light Intensity Adjustment - This setting allows user to adjust ambient light intensity above which load will not turn on upon detection of human presence. This is to avoid turning on lights during bright conditions to further save on electricity. The setting range is 15 Lux - 500 Lux
