Over 40% of plastic comes from product packaging (We're changing that!) 80 Billion plastic bottles disposed of around the world each year are from shampoo & conditioner alone. 8 Million tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean every year. 9/10 fish have ingested microplastics according to studies. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish. Only 9% of ALL plastic ever made has been recycled. Every person on earth consumes 40,000 microplastics each year.
SOLUTION: Ethique is the world's first zero waste and most sustainable lifestyle beauty brand. We use biodegradable ingredients and compostable packaging so all our solid bars leave no trace (except the luscious skin and hair it leaves behind, of course!). Our products are super concentrated so by switching to beauty bars, you're saving plastic bottles going to landfill. Ethique is New Zealand's highest scoring BCorp as well as carbon fiber neutral and living ware employer.
JOURNEY: To date we saved our planet from over 5 million plastic bottles! JASMINE & YLANG YLANG: 2 Plastic Bottles Prevented - .9 Liters of water saved. Made with essential oils and butters, no synthetic fragrances. We use organic cocoa butter from a farming cooperative in the Dominican Republic, organic coconut oil from Samoa & delicious essential oils to create a bar that is easy to use, supremely hydrating & fabulous for heels, elbows or anywhere else needing a little extra TLC. Best used after a shower on damp skin. Equivalent to almost 500ml of liquid lotion

In keeping with all things solid, we have made a world class body lotion into a divine buttery block. All our butter blocks are made with 100% pure essential oils and butters, no fragrances. We use Organic Cocoa Butter from Ghana, Organic Coconut Oil from Samoa and pure essential oils to create a bar that is easy to use, supremely hydrating and fabulous for heels, elbows or anywhere else needing a little extra tlc. We have had people say it helps their eczema and it certainly helps with intensely dry skin along with being a great daily moisturiser from top to toe. Jasmine is referred to as the King of oils and it's not hard to see why. One of our most requested scents and blended with Ylang Ylang it is sweet, lightly floral and absolutely beautiful.
