Experience THX-certified theater reference surround-sound in your entertainment space, with the SKS-HT993THX package from Onkyo. Born of a legendary 70-year Hi-Fi heritage, each speaker has been exactingly designed, built and tuned. Each speaker is independently tested by Onkyo and THX technicians to ensure film soundtracks explode with rich layers of detail and immersive wide-spectrum dynamics. Solid MDF cabinets keep vibration minimal. A-OMF woofer diaphragms use layers of lightweight polyethylene naphtha late, cotton weave, and aramid to achieve exceptional speed and accuracy, and high-quality 1-inch soft-dome tweeters cleanly extend treble out to 45 kHz. Because the speakers are sealed, you can position them almost anywhere. It's even possible to wall-mount the surrounds without compromising bass power or clarity. Rounding out this 7.1-channel speaker package is a 125 W powered subwoofer. Its high-capacity cabinet and 12-inch front-firing cone fill rooms with wall-shaking bass. This beautifully finished full-scale system is the most convenient and affordable route to THX multiplex sound.
