They were designed with a slimmer grip around the 1/4" plugs which makes it easier to plug in and unplug when using multiple cables next to each other. They also have an incredibly low Picofarad rating of only 38. Have you ever wondered why one guitar cable sounds better than another? The main reason is the Picofarad rating. Most guitar cables have a high Picofarad rating. Some as high as 200 Picofarads per foot.
