25 foot Blue High-Flex BNC to BNC 3G/6G HD SDI Patch Cable, Blue Jeans Cable brand

This 3G/6G HD-SDI cable is built with a special high-flexibility precision video coax which has been sweep-tested to 4.5 GHz and broadcast-quality 75 ohm crimp-type BNCs. It has a compacted stranded copper center conductor and two 95% coverage braided bare copper shields laid one on top of the other, a foamed HDPE dielectric, and soft pliable PVC jacket. These materials make for an unusually flexible precision video cable assembly, suited for patch bays and for mobile installations or any situation where high flexibility and/or flex life is required.

The cable stock is made in the USA to exacting standards; every spool is sweep-tested to 4.5 GHz to ensure that dimensional control and impedance stability are within tight tolerances, and that return loss is kept to a minimum. The BNCs, likewise, are true broadcast-quality products designed to minimize return loss through the plug body and plug/jack interface. The cable is rated CM, making it lawful for installation in walls and cable trays--anywhere but in a riser or plenum.

Blue Jeans Cable: Professional Precision Cable Assembly

Our cables are assembled in our Seattle workshop by American workers, using the highest quality precision stripping and crimping equipment. Coax is stripped with precise dimensional control in our Swiss-made Schleuniger coaxial cable strippers, resulting in a shield braid undamaged by stripping and a center conductor of consistent maximum length for full engagement in the BNC pin crimp. Our crimping is done on Schleuniger 3-ton pneumatic presses--not on hand tools that can loosen and result in a weak crimp. The result is a cable which is not only superb in its electrical performance, but is physically robust and stable and will endure frequent handling and flexing.
