Tick Tock Organic Rooibos Green Tea is light and delicate, made from pure, superior grade rooibos from organic certified farms. It’s similar to traditional green tea but without any bitterness and is naturally caffeine free. To give Green Tick Tock its distinctive subtle taste and pale color, the oxidization process that naturally occurs after harvesting is deliberately cut short by the application of heat – an approach inspired by ancient Chinese tea making techniques. It is great as a refreshing first cup, throughout the day, and even at bedtime.

Tick Tock tea is still harvested by hand and cured in the traditional way, as it was when Grandfather Benjamin Ginsberg founded Rooibos over 100 years ago. The process takes place in the crisp air of the Cedarberg Mountains of South Africa's Cape. It requires great skill to know when the cure is at its peak; one sign is that it begins to give off a delicious sweet aroma that attracts wild bees.

Tick Tock has been growing and producing the finest grade rooibos (redbush) tea ever since Grandfather Benjamin Ginsberg created the brew in 1903. A tea pioneer, he was the first to use traditional tea making techniques to cure the wild rooibos plant and bring out the best of its natural flavors. Tick Tock tea is still harvested by hand and traditionally cured in the crisp air of the Cedarberg Mountains of South Africa's Cape.

For the perfect cup of Tick Tock tea, just add freshly boiled water and brew for 2-4 minutes, according to taste. The longer the infusion time, the stronger the flavor. Unlike other teas, Rooibos does not go bitter. As with all green teas it is best enjoyed without milk.
