These spouts measure a close approximate of 2 3/4" or 7cm from side to side directly across the middle of the spout. PLEASE MEASURE. THE DESCRIPTION IS ACCURATE for the Nuby cup as shown and described. If you do not have a Nuby sippy cup that looks like this and is 10 ounces, this spout will not fit your cup so do not order it. FOR MASON JARS: We use this spout on our own mason jars. Many others have used it successfully as well. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU ORDER. OPEN PACKAGES CANNOT BE RETURNED. We include directions for using them with mason jars with your order. You can also see the step by step instructions in the comments/reviews right on this page, that show you how to make these work. If you follow the directions and use the right size mason jar which is the standard size, small mason jar, there is no reason why they should not work. If you have never used them with mason jars before, just order one spout instead of 6 to try. You can even google how to make the nuby spouts work with mason jars and if you still can't figure it out, you can order mason jars online that already have the Nuby spout fitted to the jar. That way, you will have the right sized jar. We provide the information link in with the directions in case you need more help.
