Ideal for medium-size lawn, shrub, and garden areas, the adjustable Rain Bird 32SASP rotor provides uniform coverage on par with automatic sprinkler systems. In fact, the rotor is the same dependable gear-drive design used in Rain Bird underground systems, now offered on a metal spike for use with a garden hose. Place it anywhere you would use lawn sprinklers and get beautiful, greener results. The rotor offers a rotation range of 20 to 360 degrees and sprays at a distance of 19 to 32 feet, allowing you to avoid overspray on sidewalks and buildings, saving water.
Among the 32SASP's rotor advances is its Rain Curtain nozzle design, which produces larger water droplets that fall exactly where you want them, resisting windblown overspray. The nozzle's "micro ramps" also direct a portion of the spray close to the head, eliminating the dry brown spots common with other brands. The nozzle's superior coverage uniformity helps you reduce watering time on your rotor zone, saving money on water bills.
The rotor is preset at the factory to rotate 180 degrees from its left starting point. To increase or decrease the arc, make final adjustments with the top screw using a screwdriver, increasing or decreasing as desired from a small spray pattern of 20 degree rotation all the way up to full circle.
The rotor comes with a 3.0 GPM nozzle rated to a throw distance of up to 32 feet at common residential water pressure (45 PSI). You can reduce throw distance up to 35 percent by turning the screw located above the nozzle using a flat blade screwdriver.
