When played, the solid brass jingles have a slightly darker, warmer sound while the nickelsilver plated steel jingles give a brighter, crisp accent at the same time. This method of blending the two alloys has great tonal properties, and any percussionist, drummer or vocalist will find it very musical and fun to play.
