It has one female National Pipe Thread (NPT) cam coupler with cam lock levers for locking to a male adapter and one male shank for connecting to a hose. It is made of glass-reinforced polypropylene for strength and durability, with 316 stainless steel rings, arms, and pins for resistance to scaling and corrosion. Its gaskets are EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) for resistance to weathering, ozone, UV, electricity, oils, water, steam, and some solvents. This fitting has a maximum pressure rating of 150 pounds per square inch (psi) and meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) 38000 standards and U.S. Military MIL-C-27487F specifications. This cam and groove fitting is suitable for use in commercial or industrial flow systems, such as water transport and treatment, waste management, and in petroleum systems, among others.

Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and other materials that resist corrosion, pressure, and wear. Hose fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, barbed, push-to-connect, dry disconnect, and others including those based on internationally-accepted specifications. Hose fittings are used in systems such as air compressors, automatic manufacturing operations, aircraft controls, and tire installation in industries including agriculture, mining, road construction, firefighting, and aviation.

Banjo manufactures valves, couplings, pumps, pipe and hose fittings, and other fluid handling products for industrial applications. The company, founded in 1995, is headquartered in Crawfordsville, IN.
